Tabaatabaaie House



One of the top tourist attractions in Iran is Tabaatabaaie House. It is important because of its architectural historical value.
 
 It is located in Soltaan Amir Ahmad region which is part of old Kaashaan. This house is amasterpiece of ancient architecture which was built by late Sayed Jafar Tabaatabaaie - famous carpet businessman of the time- in 1834.


Like other historical monuments of the time, Tabaatabaaie House had luxurious decorations, originality of architecture and design appropriate to the culture and particular climate of the region.



This house, with 4700 square meters, consists of three inner selections, one crew section, 40 rooms, 4 yards, 4 basements, 3 deflectors and 2 aqueducts.
In 1994, Kaashaan Cultural Heritage Organization started repairing the house; then it was registered in Iran’s National Heritage List.


If you visit Iran and travel to Kaashaan, you will find Tabaatabaaie House a great historical site to see.

Delicious foods to eat in Abadan


When you visit Iran and, on your way through it, you get to Abadan, you have to taste these foods at least once.

Falafel: falafel-selling cabins in Abadan give you the best falafel you can ever taste. It is so chilly and has the special flavor of Abadan’s unique spices.
Matn-Beryani: it’s the mixture of meat and chicken with spiced rice.


Koube-Araqi: it is made from smashed potato, boiled eggs, cooked rice, turmeric shaped into a sphere with mincemeat and onion in its center.

Ghalie-Mahi: croaker rolled in sour materials for hours.

There are many other delicious foods specially cooked in Abadan; the above mentioned are popular ones. Note that when you order foods in Abadan, be sure that it has lots of turmeric and pepper. All the dishes are served with side dishes. You will be amazed by their taste, color and variety.

Hasht Behesh Palace

Hasht Behesh Palace (meaning Eight Heaven Palace) is one of tourist attractions in Isfahan, Iran. If you want to visit Iran, you will find this palace a master peace of architecture.
The palace was built in Safavi era. Two-story building t is based on an octagonal base of 130 centimeter height and it is 14 meters high by itself.
When entering the area of palace, first there is a beautiful garden, surrounding the building within itself. While in the palace, you can see different sorts of Iranian ancient architectural monuments in every corner and place.








Although some parts of the building were ruined during civil wars and different reigns, the remaining parts are good models of Safavi era and in general, ancient architecture of Iran.

If you want to visit Iran, there is one place to go to first. Tehran, capital of Iran, can be a very good destination because it is loaded with both historical and modern tourist attractions.

In North of Tehran, there is Saad Abaad and Niavaraan palaces. Also mountain areas of Darbaand and Darakeh is placed in this area.

In East, you will enjoy Sourkhehesar national park. And if you move few miles away from Tehran, you will find Jajroud and Telou as beautiful places to rest.

In West, artificial Chitgar Lake and Kaan and Souloughaan and Imamzadeh Davood – a holy temple, are placed.

In South, Grand Bazar and Goulestan palace are two of Tehran’s most important places.
